Screening

Acoustically absorptive screens can be used in applications where a full enclosure is impractical or unnecessary in achieving the desired result. Screens may be free standing or married with existing structures to form enclosed areas. Screens may be used as barriers to reduce noise from roads or rail lines, or to enclose noisy plant at roof level protecting communities from unwanted noise.

  • Composition: Steel panel construction faced with perforated steel sheet to maximise acoustic absorption and filled with a non-combustible, chemically inert, water resistant, vermin and rot proof infill which does not encourage the growth of fungi, mould or bacteria
  • Access Requirements: We are able to offer a range of access requirements: be it single or double-leaf, hinged or sliding doors, hatches or removable panels.
  • Viewing Panels: Designed to maintain a view without diminishing acoustic performance.
  • Ventilation: Natural or fan assisted ventilation using attenuated ducts or louvres may be incorporated into an acoustic screen
  • Finishes: Powder coated or painted in a variety of colours, or simply in galvanised, stainless or polymer coated steel finishes.

Absorptive Panels

When applied to a surface acoustically absorptive panels maximise acoustic absorption offering an alternative means to mitigate unwanted noise. Absorptive panels may be installed in rooms or spaces to reduce undesirable echo or reverberation effects. If the space is used for speaking then a reduction in reverberant sound conditions can actually improve clarity and intelligibility.

Features include:

  • Mounting Options: Flush or offset from the mounting surface for added performance, or even suspended from a ceilings.
  • Indoor or Outdoor Use: Dependant on the application panels may be designed to withstand the effects of weather.
  • Finishes: Powder coated or painted in a variety of colours, or simply in galvanised, stainless or polymer coated steel finishes.
